Openers & motors
Opener not working? We can fix or replace it.
When an opener hums but won't lift, closes then reverses, or ignores your remote, the cause is often something small: a misaligned safety sensor, a dead remote battery, a stripped gear or a limit setting that has drifted. We diagnose first, so you don't pay to replace a working motor.
If it's time for a new opener, we'll help you choose. Chain drives are durable and widely used. Belt drives are quieter, which matters if your garage sits under a bedroom. Wall-mount openers save ceiling space and suit some door types. Many openers now offer Wi-Fi control, so you can check or close the door from your phone.
A new opener should always be paired with a door that is balanced properly. If the springs are worn, the opener has to work harder and wears out faster, so we check the balance before installing.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Why does my garage door close and then go back up?
Usually the safety sensors are blocked, dirty or out of line, or the close limit is set wrong. Wiping the lenses and clearing the beam is a good first check.
Belt, chain or direct drive: which is best?
Belt drives are the quietest, and chain drives are tough and widely used. We'll recommend one based on your door, your garage and how it's used.
Can you install a smart or Wi-Fi opener?
Yes. We install Wi-Fi openers and help set up the app, remotes and keypads.
Can I keep my opener if I get a new door?
Often yes, if it's in good condition and compatible with the new door. We'll check before we quote.
My remote stopped working. Is the opener broken?
Not necessarily. If the wall button still works, the remote probably needs a battery or reprogramming.
